Welcome to Bellingham Technical College’s Online Teaching Guide for Faculty.

Whether you are brand new or an experienced veteran of online teaching, we hope you’ll find information that will help you be successful at BTC.

We have tried to make the guide simple and clear, and we hope that you will find it a valuable resource as you develop and deliver your online and hybrid courses.

Representing various disciplines and programs from across the college, a group of nine BTC faculty collaborated with eLearning to develop this guide. Whenever possible, we’ve referred to the current faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement  (CBA) for definitions and parameters. The CBA is posted on the BTC Staff and Faculty Intranet, and you will need your BTC credentials to access it.
