7 Spectacular Summer Playlist
eLearning Instructional Designers
Each Instructional Designer chose 3-5 songs, so we could build a long summer playlist. If you’ve already signed up for Spotify or don’t mind signing up or downloading the app, you can listen to our full Summer Songs playlist on Spotify! Spotify includes lyrics to each of the songs. If you don’t want to use Spotify, please contact us, and we’re happy to add individual YouTube videos with the lyrics.
Interactive Videos
On this page, we’ve selected three songs from our summer playlist and turned each into an interactive video experience. Within the first 10-30 seconds of each song, a multiple choice question will appear on the video. Feel welcome to answer it or ignore it. Within the last 60 seconds of each song, there’s an option to click on an icon and match the song to the instructional designer.
This activity was created using H5P (HTML5 Package). These are web-based, interactive activities that once created, can be embedded via short code into a Pressbook, LMS page, etc. While the Interactive Video H5P is listed as an accessible content type, we’re not sure the summary activity qualifies as it relies on similar visual cues as hot spots. For this reason, we’ve also included the summary activities in a multiple choice format at the bottom of this page. Enjoy!
