8 Managing Mentor and Mentee Relationship

Both mentors and mentees:

• Set an intention to listen just as much as you share.
• It is not expected that you will agree on every point or strategy. The goal is to share experiences and learn from one another in a mutually beneficial partnership.
• Be mindful of the college’s core values (see next section) as you work together in your mentoring partnership.
• Be mindful of each other’s time and capacity.
