The original version of the Open Education Resource career planning book, Career & Life Planning by Dawn Forrester and Eden Isenstein (2021), incorporates many ideas and career development strategies not found in other texts. The text consists of a collection of articles and the authors’ original writings that address issues commonly faced by today’s undecided and exploratory college students.

The adapted version of this book by Jenny Mao (2025) localizes Career & Life Planning for students in HDC 100 at North Seattle College. Changes include the book’s title and cover; additional changes are listed at the end of each chapter.
