Chapter 2: Settings Where Healthcare is Delivered

Brandon Censon MPH, CPH, RRT-NPS, CPFT, CPT

Summary

In this chapter, we explored the various settings where healthcare can be provided to a patient. Varying from settings that care for patients for an extended period of time, to those where patients are only there for a brief period of time to receive the specific care or therapy.

Connecting back to Landau who was introduced to you at the beginning of the chapter. After exploring the various places where healthcare is delivered, they felt as though a career in a setting where the relationship was not long-term would be the most appropriate place for them. Landau is now investigating a little more into careers that are located in an outpatient therapy facility.
