An Important Event

When I came to the U.S., my life changed. On August 15, 2021, after the government of Afghanistan collapsed from the Taliban, we got the chance to come to the U.S. My family and I started a new life in a different culture. At the beginning, we had a bad feeling, but at the same time we were happy. We had a bad feeling because we left our loved ones behind, but we were so excited about our new life in a different culture. After 3 months, I started my first job in the USA. When I started my first job, I was so excited. I met different people from different countries, and they were such kind and nice people. Coming to the USA changed me a lot, so now I don’t feel like I’m a kid anymore. I can take care of my family now, and I feel I’m a responsible person. Since I came to the U.S., my life got better.
