My Birthday Month

September is my birthday month, and I usually take the whole month to celebrate. Every year, most importantly, our family meets each other. We have a lot of stories to tell each other. In addition, my birthday party, my friends, relatives, and everybody come to my home. My parents brought cake for me. All my friends and relatives bring gifts to me. I feel very happy, special, and enjoy the day very much. I blow out the candles and everybody sings happy birthday to me. After I blow out the candles and cut the cake. We eat dinner before they go back home. Because I have time, I prepare food by myself. We like Thai food, but my son doesn’t like it.

In our culture on my birthday, I wish my father and mother a blessing for prosperity. Most importantly I bring gifts for them every year to show gratitude. Every year my husband would bring a gift to me. I’m so excited because I don’t even know what it is, and I like to schedule a lot of different activities. I like to go away to visit different places. However, September is a great time for me to celebrate my life.

Last year’s celebration was a lot of fun. On my birthday, my husband took my son, and I went to Disney World in Florida. We spent 10 days in the Disney World Dolphin Resort. Our room had beautiful views of the theme parks. Our room also had a great view of the nightly fireworks from one of the theme parks. We had a small party in the hotel, but I felt very happy with my family. After we ate dinner, we went outside to walk around the hotel. Every day we swam every evening, but the weather was too hot. Then, we visited several local restaurants, and the food was delicious. We ate at different places.

To summarize, it was a great trip, and a great experience because it was my first time. I love my birthday month, and it is a good time to celebrate.
