In the teacher parent conference, my daughter’s teacher said that our daughter, Linda, needed to work on her listening skills. My husband and I couldn’t help but think, “You can say that again!” Linda was a free spirit with lots of ideas she was overly excited to share. We were on the same page with the teacher about the skills our daughter needed to work on. However, when the teacher said Linda was hesitant to share things with friends, we had to agree to disagree. Linda had always been a social butterfly who loved to share things with friends all the time. After listening to our examples, the teacher said she’d watch more carefully.
