The Key Literacies are massive components to the balanced education at Spokane Community College and, like any global outcome, emerge from the work by and for the community. As such, it is recommended that you do not assess and evolve your program and courses alone.
Consider the experts of information literacy within your community: the librarians, the English Composition faculty, and instructional designers are all fantastic voices that can contribute to an ecosystem of revision and evolution. Whether you need to create a structured look at your program overall, or want to drive into the improvement of a single lesson, activity, or assignment–or something in between–reach out to those who not only know information literacy, but are passionate about seeing it in your work through the key literacies.
