Site visit option

Purposes:

Show off what you are doing. Help your instructor understand better what you are doing. Make a connection between the school and the organization.

Tasks:

Ask your agency volunteer coordinator (or other appropriate staff) whether the director of your Behavioral and Social Services program at school can come for a tour. (Ask, don’t demand or assume!) If the staff don’t approve, complete the safety plan assignment. If the staff approve a tour, work with them and your instructor to schedule an occasion to do so. It is your responsibility to connect them by the assignment due date. (The actual tour can happen any time during the quarter. Your responsibility is to make the inquiry and make the introduction by the due date.) You will need to be present during the tour.

Grading criteria:

Full credit for students who get approval and make a valid effort at scheduling.
