Safety plan option

Purposes:

To help you feel safe in your new role and setting.

Tasks:

Review the information and directions you have been given by your organization, paying particular attention to how staff and volunteers ensure their safety and that of others. Ask agency staff for more information, as needed. Then type a 200-300 word explanation. Include information such as

• What the staff do to keep everyone safe
• What volunteers are expected to do to promote their own safety and others’
• How the team responds to emergencies or signs of aggression
• Other information you deem relevant

Grading criteria:

Length, clarity of focus, inclusion of useful information, appropriateness
