NAMI RESEARCH AND REFLECTION POSTER
Purpose
This assignment is linked to your volunteering at NAtional Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on (Month, Date)
Based on your volunteering at this organization you will create a research and reflection poster.
Tasks
Your poster at the minimum must include:
1. Introduction
- Topic of the poster
- Student names, Course Title, College Name, Name of your Professor
2. Learning Objectives
- Develop 4-5 learning objectives based upon the course objectives laid out in the syllabus.
3. Profile of NAMI
- Mission
- Programs
- Community members it serves
4. Course Concepts defined using textbook with in-text citation and reference in APA (Choose any one)
- Describe something you’ve learned from your service learning volunteering, then relate it to course concepts
- Describe a course concept, and describe how it can apply to your service-learning experience
- Explain a course theory/idea/practice. Did your experience with this project support or contradict it?
5. Volunteer work: Research Method and Results
- What you did, how it impacts, and what needs to be done
6. Photos (optional)

- You may include 4-5 photos from your volunteering event.
- The photographs should be personally taken (I will not accept non-original photos such as clip art, magazine images or any other images taken from the internet).
- The photograph should not reveal the identity of person-make sure you have no faces visible). Also, the photograph must not reveal personal identity information such as license plates, social security numbers and the like. Please do not use stickers to cover faces or personal information

- Consider actions you can take to continue supporting NAMI’s mission or similar initiatives.
- What courses could you take in the future to learn more about this issue and/or gain skills and knowledge to help you address this issue?
