My Neighborhood

We moved to the US one year ago. We stayed at a temporary house for 3 months. During those months we had short time to find a new house. We have two kids. School is so important for us. For example, when school rating is good, education and neighbors will be better. We looked around, we found beautiful houses, but assigned schools didn’t have a good rating. Finally, we bought a small and cute house. There are some things I like and dislike in my neighborhood.
I love my neighborhood. For example, our house is on a dead-end street. There isn’t any traffic and kids play safely in the street. Some of our neighbors are so friendly and kind. School is also so important for us because of the school rating. This neighborhood schools have good scores. For elementary it is 8, for middle school it is 9, and for high school it is 10 scores. Also, our home is so close to Sammamish Lake trail. If I have more time I walk on the trail.
I also don’t like some things in my neighborhood. For instance, when it gets dark, our street is so dark, and I can’t see anything. Also, some of my neighbors are not friendly like my other neighbors. They are asocial. Also, every time I need a car because everything is so far from my home. For example, shopping mall, groceries, playground etc.
My neighborhood has advantages and disadvantages. But for me, the important things are advantages because I can disregard some disadvantages. For instance, if I have a car I can go everywhere. But can’t change school and a safe environment.
