My Neighborhood

Talia Berner and Boyuan

Moving is a tedious and difficult thing. I’ve moved many times since I was born for several reasons. My family’s last move was from Wuhan, China to Seattle, the United States for my sons’ education. There are many things I like and dislike about my neighborhood.

There are a lot of things I like about my neighborhood. This area has a beautiful view. For example, many flowers and trees in different seasons have different colors. My neighborhood also has quiet environment. We can walk in the neighborhood everyday to appreciate different scenery. It’s also has friendly neighbors. Our neighbors on the same block often have a party together to celebrate different holidays.

There are also many things I don’t like about my neighborhood. The main reason is about traffic. It is difficult in winter because my neighborhood is far away from the city on the hillside. Another reason is living in this area is boring because a lot of my neighbors are retired people who live here.

In conclusion, although there are a lot of things I don’t like about our neighborhood, but I don’t regret moving here.
