Snoqualmie Falls

Elena Nedobolskaia and Sasha Khatchadourian

In December 2021, I saw a waterfall for the first time. It was Snoqualmie Falls! I dreamed about this all my life! It made an unforgettable impression on me! But on this day the weather was rainy and cold, as is typical for Washington state, which did not allow me to enjoy its view in full. I waited for the weather to warm up and looked forward to our next meeting.

Our second meeting happened this summer. Snoqualmie Falls hit me again! His power and the sound of water are amazing! The nature that surrounds it is no less beautiful. Very green, huge ancient trees covered with moss, walking around this place you feel like it’s a fairy tale! We went around the whole park, went down to the emerald-colored mountain river, on one side of which there is a very beautiful forest, and on the other side there are huge stones. A light breeze blows from the river, which is refreshing in the summer heat. Every section of this place is incredible!

Now, this is my favorite place and I gladly come when the opportunity arises. I love coming here just to walk around and spend time with my family. Sometimes I like to be here alone, mourning about something, and listening to the mesmerizing sound of the water. It is very calming and relaxing for me.
