The Person I Admire

There are many people in your life that you admire. In my life, my son Andrew is the person who had the greatest impact on me. He inspired me to become confident and persistent.

First, we moved to U.S. in 2017. We came to a strange city. The languages are a big problem. Andew was in the sixth grade. He was studying hard. In 2019, he got into a private high school with excellent grades. He told me “Mom, I am OK!” every time.

Second, in the high school Andrew ran for a vice president of the student union. He prepared a speech and canvassed for votes. He had a lot to do. He was very busy. In the U.S., there are more white people than Asian people in the school. Andrew won against the other two white people with 75% of the votes. He is the best.

Finally, Andrew had a great impact on me. He showed me that it is important to my life .
