The Person I Admire

JS

My mother is the person who had the greatest impact on me. She inspired me to get over obstacles with positive thinking and love unconditionally.

First, my mother showed me how strong she is! She’s overcome many difficulties in her life. In 1988, my father was sick. He got serious illness, so he quit the job and stayed at the hospital. My father was sick for almost 4 years. Fortunately, he recovered slowly, but he still needed to be careful and take a rest. My mother had to not only make money, but also take care of our family. The situation was really bad. Although she could have felt frustrated and given up, she worked very hard with positive thinking. She worked really hard almost 7 days a week, from morning to night. At that time, if my mother hadn’t had strong mind, my family would have had really difficult time.

Second, she’s showed me unconditional love. I’ve learned how to love from her. She’s always sacrificed for my brother and me. But she’s never complained about it. Even though things didn’t go easy, she wanted to give me the great thing like getting a good education and encouraged me to look for what I really want to do and dream a better life for myself. She always told me that I could do anything I wanted and that she was going to support me.

My mother had a great impact on me because I learned how to overcome difficulties with positive thinking, and I got unconditional love from her. I’m so lucky that I was born as my mother’s daughter.
