What Motivates and Inspires Me Every Day

It`s not a secret for everyone that we live in such difficult times. I mean that it`s too hard to keep yourself calm nowadays. Many people find themselves in a situation when they should be worried about future life more than ever before and prepare for possible difficulties. A lot of people are faced with a decision: worry and wait for the quiet times, wait until they solve their problems, or live a full life without anxiety and minimize stress. Our lives do not stop, and our best years don`t wait for your readiness to make every day special and joyful. I understand everybody who belongs to the first group. I was there, and I would like to share my rules with you here, give you advice on how to continue calm and still life, feel happiness, and be present every day.

The first thing I would share with you is to be thankful. It seems what can be easier. But I mean to feel this every time, even unconscious when you feel gratitude for being here and have the possibility to study, to work, to have a choice, to make a decision, to live this every day and have a better life than the majority of people on the planet no matter what. To be thankful also means to complain less. We are surrounded by insignificant, minor things that make us stressed, like traffic jams or stale food we buy in grocery stores, but it doesn`t impact us in general or make us completely despaired, so why do we waste our nerves on these trivial things? In my opinion, we shouldn’t do it. Don`t mint this unimportance and never stop feeling love and commendations for something bigger and considerable.

The second piece of advice is not to condemn anyone for anything. This rule is also present in many religions for a reason. I noticed that if you condemn something or somebody heavily, you are unconsciously afraid to be in this place and do this thing that you condemn others for. There is an interesting fact: the greater your judgment is, the greater your fear is. These emotions are tearing you apart from within, so if you want to stay calm and peaceful, get rid of them. Forgive people for their imperfections and mistakes because we all live this life for the first time, no one has a guideline, no one is perfect.

The next one will be about self-development. Do something you love and love what you do to the fullest. Improve your skills, and be open to new information incessantly. It would be easy and pleasurable if you were really in it. Be passionate about your work and pour your heart into it truly. Your hobby can turn into your job; it doesn’t matter because the primary idea is to have something that ignites your passion. When you have a passion, you are more likely to succeed. It also will make you happier, believe me. As Confucius said, ”Find the job you`ll be in love with, and you`ll never need to work.”

The next thing will be about physical activity. Everybody knows it`s a large problem nowadays. Our smartphones chain us and we don`t move enough. My recommendation is to take your earphones, the audiobook you want to listen to or read for a long time, and go for a walk as much as possible. I assure you, you`ll be shocked at how great you`ll feel. It`s better to walk outside when the weather is just right for you, but a treadmill is also a good choice. Any activity is better than nothing! Do it every day, and your hormones, such as endorphins, will do their work – you`ll feel quite good. To keep your body in shape is too essential for mental health.

Additionally, I stopped to read and watch the news recently and suggest you do the same. I guarantee that even if you want, you won’t be able to miss any really important development. It`s impossible because everywhere and everyone will discuss it, and you will still be aware of the situation but free from anxiety, and your stress will be much less.

One more idea which can help to be content – is getting helpful. Do more good deeds for all people genuinely, whether it is for strangers or acquaintances, and don`t wait for any benefits. Just do it because you can, because somebody`s life will be a little easier, pleasant, and full of good. These positive feelings will return to you with a great increase. These are the laws of the universe.

In conclusion, you should love your life, even if sometimes it`s hard. When you lose your heart, you must remember you are lucky in general, you can have so many wonderful experiences in this life and enjoy so many reasons! All difficulties are temporary. Your life is not waiting for better times, it`s going on now, and your responsibility is to support yourself and be a friend for yourself; rest if you are tired; eat something tasty to lift your mood, or skip it to stay fit; care about your closest people, and remember:  if you look after your well-being, you`ll be able to care for others and make the world a better place.
