Logging In to Afterglow

  1. Log in to Skynet
  2. While in Skynet: click “My Observatory” and then “Optical Observing”
  3. Click the “Open Afterglow” button.
    • Menu structure
  4. Choose “Log in via Skynet” and grant permission.

Opening Files

  1. Within Afterglow, click on the “folder icon” in the upper left. If you cannot see it, click the “document” icon first to make the folder icon appear.
    • Icon location.
  2. Navigate to the file path:
    • Open File –>
      • Skynet Robotic Telescope Network –>
        • User Observations –>
          • [Your Observation Folder] –>
            • Reduced Images
  3. Double click on the .fits file
  4. Wait for it to open in Afterglow.
