Alternate Format: Written Instructions

  1. Click on the “info” icon in the upper right.
  2. To get the Universal Time, get the data from the line labeled “Center Time.”
    • Location of info icon and UTC information.
  3. To get the name of the telescope get the date from the line labeled “Telescope.”
    • Where to find the name of the telescope.
  4. Pause. If this is the first time you’ve seen these directions, that’s probably all you need. If you are on a later assignment there is one more piece thing:
  5. In a later assignment you may be asked for the “Julian Date” — get that from the line labeled “Center JD”. Take the number up only through the first decimal point.
