This work was a response to much of the civil unrest that occurred during the lock down. The horse depicted here is an ecorche (flayed anatomical study) used in classical drawing studios, which is what I teach. This ecorche served as a model for many of the confederate equestrian statues that were torn down or de-installed during this time.
