CSWA Preparation

The CSWA stands for Certified SolidWorks Associate. This is an industry recognized certification that proves your proficiency in using the SolidWorks software just enough to be able to perform mechanical designs. Some would describe this as a certification that proves you have just the right amount of stuff to be dangerous in the mechanical design field.

The CSWA exam is a 3-hour exam that is taken online which will ask you to model, modify, and assemble parts. To answer questions on the CSWA exam, you will need to know how to access mass property information to identify the correct mass and center of mass of parts and assemblies. The exam is filled with multiple choice and numerical input questions. There are also some drafting competency questions on the CSWA exam.
