In Tibetan Buddhism “bardo” is the term used to describe the liminal space between death and rebirth. I created this piece to reflect the ever changing nature of existence. The form was informed by dying plants in nature, and technically, my goal was to push the limits of the material to just beyond the breaking point, hoping the viewer can appreciate the other side of beauty and growth.
