Ageism: / Optional (Choose 2)
The Oxford Dictionary defines ageism as “prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age.”
Whether perceived to be too young, or too old, prejudices against age cause society and individuals to treat people differently based on a person’s appearance. Sometimes age has its advantages: young people are typically more likely to be hired than older people. Though, a young person working among a demographic of adults significantly older than them presents its own challenges.
