Introducing Dr. Paul Jackson
Dr. Paul Jackson has a PhD in Computer Engineering, specializing in virtual reality technology and his career includes notable contributions to the field while working at Boeing, where he developed virtual reality applications and simulations. Dr. Jackson has also documented numerous Black community events in the Seattle area, as well as shedding light on vital social justice issues. Dr. Jackson utilizes panoramic 360-degree pictures and bird-eye view visuals to tell his stories. The Google Earth platform enables seamless information sharing across various computer platforms and is accessible on the web.
Dr. Jackson’s long-term passion for Seattle’s Black history is deeply rooted in his extensive experience working in web-based media. He has dedicated his time to volunteer work with MMRTI, a digital video studio run by the Ethiopian community.
