About the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC)

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at Spokane Community College supported this book through its annual Fellows Program. Questions about the TLC, as well as the Fellows Program and its projects, can be directed to the current TLC Coordinator, Angela Rasmussen.

As per the TLC’s website:

Our mission is to facilitate an atmosphere of collaboration, collegiality, inclusivity, diversity, and recognition of peer excellence by providing space and resources for the SCC community to nurture teaching and learning strategies in support of student success.

The center offers events with one goal in mind: improving your work with students immediately.

The TLC has not only provided the structure for the project to emerge, but has provided immense community support for this project to be successful and persistent across two quarters.
