10 On My Path: Jalayiah Goins College and Career Pathways My path led me through hurt it has led me Wondering why the person I expected safety from didn’t protect and comfort me I studied and discovered a little bit of the reasons of absent fathers and what triggers the kind of reactions that fathers that don’t want to be in their child’s life have.
