18.3 Who Uses the WPS

A WPS is used by more than just the welders or welding operators. Inspectors and welding supervisors also use WPSs to ensure that you are welding what is required for the job at hand. And you may have noticed the NASA WPS shown throughout this chapter had a customer signature (see in Figure 18.6); when welding jobs are contracted out to other organizations or companies, they also review the welding procedure.
