Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) & White Supremacy

In order to understand EDI, we must first understand White Supremacy. In essence, we would need not EDI if it were not for the long-lasting consequences of racism and White Supremacy in the United States.

However, White Supremacy is not limited to the United States. White Supremacy has become a pervasive ideology within countries where White people (typically of European descent or ancestry) have been the power authority.

Examples of other countries battling White Supremacy include: Great Britain / England, France, Germany, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and many more.

White Supremacy, because it is an ideology backed by power, has permeated societies and cultures at a global level.

To create a more fair and equal society, we must understand power dynamics, White Supremacy, and how many vulnerable communities are continuously impacted by the destructive harm of White Supremacy codified in the law.
