ELAD Celebrates Events
Each ELAD Celebrates event invites participants to recognize and honor diverse people and cultures. Our goals for ELAD Celebrates International Women’s Day include:
- Increased awareness of lesser-known women of diverse backgrounds whose work reflects social justice.
- Building goodwill among our community of learners and educators
Materials From This Event
The International Women’s Day Celebration was totally asynchronous. The ELAD team sent emails at semi-regular intervals throughout the day with links to Microsoft Sway presentations about international women leaders who might not be well-known by our college community.
