Module-by-Module PowerPoint Slides for Social Justice focus:
This Appendix contains select slides from PowerPoint lectures related to the Modules listed in previous chapters of this book. PowerPoint slides for each Module in the course were borrowed primarily from the free instructor resources provided by textbook publisher, W.W. Norton, in individual chapters from the 13th core edition of We the People by Ginsburg, et al. For copyright reasons, in part, those slides have not been reproduced here; instead, slides I created to supplement or modify the publisher’s slides with a DSJ focus for a given chapter or course Module are provided. *All “chapter” references are to We the People textbook, cited above.

Chapter 7 (News Media) slides: DSJ slides are not included here because the publisher’s slides were not significantly modified, except to add tools like the ad fontes Media Bias Chart. An assignment in Module 2 adequately explains this tool. Note – while News Media may not seem an obvious focus for DSJ concepts, the Big Lie by 2020 election deniers, and the impact of resulting state voting restrictions on communities of color, makes this a critical connection.
