Kristina Muramoto – Rainbow Street Wall Flower

Origami created from a photo taken in Reykjavik Iceland of a rainbow street and flowers and repurposed magazine pages.

Multicolor paper folded into many petals. They are layered on top of one another, each tier showing a different color scheme.

A photo of the artist's inspiration for their piece, displaying purple, blue, white, and pink flowers amongst green stems and leaves. They are planted in concrete beds, and the road behind them is painted rainbow.
