A Day Full of Flowers

Hyekyung Jo and Eric Santaella

Have you been falling in love with the smell of flowers lately? I like so many of them that I’m going to the flower garden every day. When I go there, I can see my favorite flowers and plants. And I love the sweet smell of them. You may fall in love with the smell of flowers too, but you must not pick them.

I went to the Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon last April. The sight of tulips covering so much ground was wonderful. They had so many colors: red, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and so on, and the clear air in the blue sky made my family feel so happy. That day I began to look forward to a new life in America.
