Culture Lag

Definition
A culture’s basic ability (or lack of ability) to follow time and advance with society alongside technology.

Example
Example: I have reflected on this concept by viewing many different cultures in many different countries from my own perspective.  I have noticed that a variety of these cultures are either behind, the same, or ahead of the United States.
