Hidden Curriculum

Hidden-curriculum includes concepts often learned subconsciously through unspoken, or implied course studies, class lessons. Students values, norms and beliefs can be identified during class breaks, recesses and school activities such as field trips.
Example: As a returning student at LWTECH, I’ve been enriched personally through the interaction with my peers, teachers and faculty. Additionally, I experienced a field trip day to the beach with my son recently, and was intrigued by how much Hidden-curriculum was shared together during our drive, interaction with others and surfing. The greatest benefit I have come to recognize about Hidden-curriculum, is the personal connections that we have with others, our surroundings and ourselves.
