Moral Consensus

Definition
Moral consensus is a universal understanding in a society on what is morally good and progressive for the society.

Example
An example of this can be the laws we encounter today. For example, our government creates various laws in order to protect the general society. We also have general rules of politeness and respect in certain social situations.
