Subculture

Definition
A subculture is a smaller culture that exists within a larger main culture, usually having different norms from the main culture as well as differing values.

Example
For example, I play a lot of video games, like a lot, and being as such I consider myself part of what is called “gamer culture” which is considered a subculture, and being a part of this subculture has led me to where I am today, having friends because of it as well as many different hobbies.
