My Neighborhood

Alexey Kazakov and Asiya Mohamed

I like moving to a new place. In my life, I have moved more than ten times. I like to make repairs in the apartment, and I like to buy new furniture, and move it. I like to meet new people and talk with them. Three years ago, I moved to Kirkland. It was my dream to live with my family in a nice place, in a big house, and it happened. I am happy.

There are a lot of things that I like on my neighborhood. For example, there is a trail where I can walk with ours dogs. There are many big green trees and nice flowers. Our house is located on a quiet street, and there is hardly any traffic. I live right next to a small creek. It is called Forbs Greek, and Lake Washington is right next to us, too. I go fishing there almost every day, and it keeps me in great physical shape.

There are also some things I don’t like about my neighborhood. For instance, some people don’t clean after their pets, although there are many special trashcans in the neighborhood.

As you can see, life in my neighborhood has its own benefits and drawbacks. I am happy that I can find peace and beauty all around me in my neighborhood, and that I can live here with my family.
